DESCRIPTION:Farm Philly is pleased to offer a variety of individual volunteer workday opportunities to help support the preservation and improvement of the Carousel House Farm in Philadelphia. 4300 Avenue of the Republic\, Philadelphia\, PA 19131 \nThese opportunities include: \n\nSeasonal farm activities including planting\, harvesting\, seeding\, bed prep\, weeding\, mulching\, and more!\n  \nSchedule \nEvery 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month\, starting June 13th \n  \nWhat to Wear and Bring \n·        We strongly recommend wearing long pants that cover your ankles and long sleeves to protect your arms. \n·        Sturdy\, closed-toe shoes like boots or sneakers are required (no ballet flats\, flip flops\, or sandals). \n·        Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will provide jugs for refilling. \n·        You may also want to consider wearing a hat or sunglasses. \n·        In general\, please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. \n  \nAdditional Details \n  \n·        We will provide all the tools\, supplies\, and materials for the project\, including gloves. \n·        We will provide bug spray\, sunblock\, hand sanitizer\, and wipes. \n·        Please bring a mask (optional). \n* We have bathroom access on site.
