Farm Philly Community Harvest Day – September 2nd

Did you know that Farm Philly runs a public, organic farm right in West Philly?

Come learn all about it – while harvesting summer veggies – this Saturday, September 2nd from 10am-noon at the Carousel House Farm! We are nearing the end of our summer season, so we will have a variety of summer vegetables to harvest including tomatoes, okra, squash, and beans. All produce is grown for donation, so you and your friends and family will be able to take fresh veggies home at the end of the event.

This is an all ages event. Please bring friends and family who’d like to learn about urban farming and harvest fresh vegetables.

We will provide tools, gloves, and water. There is a bathroom on site. We suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
