Farm Philly Volunteer Day: Tomatoes & Companion Plants – June 11th

June 11 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Registration: Please register here for the event!

Join us at the farm! This week we will be planting tomatoes and companion plants. Learn about beneficial relationships between tomatoes and plants like marigolds, sweet alyssum, scallions, and cilantro!

Farm Philly invites you to join us at the Carousel House Farm every Tuesday from 5-7pm. We will be planting, weeding, and maintaining our crops as well as harvesting for our weekly food distribution.

This is an all-ages event. Please bring friends and family who’d like to get their hands in the dirt!

We will provide tools, gloves, and water. There is a bathroom on site. We suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Address: 4300 Avenue of the Republic, 19131 (down the street from the Mann). Street parking available. The farm is accessible by the 64, 38, 40, and 43 buses.
