Farm Philly Volunteer Day: Cherry Harvest! – June 4th

Join us for a special edition of our regular Tuesday night event! We are in peak cherry and strawberry season, and want to celebrate by harvesting, eating, and sharing recipes with you all. Eduardo (Ed) Dueñas, the Volunteer Manager at Fairmount Park Conservancy, will be joining us from 5-6pm to share food and recipes while we harvest. We will also continue our regular harvest and farm care activities. Hope to see you there!
Farm Philly invites you to join us at the Carousel House Farm every Tuesday from 5-7pm. We will be planting, weeding, and maintaining our crops as well as harvesting for our weekly food distribution.
This is an all-ages event. Please bring friends and family who’d like to get their hands in the dirt!
We will provide tools, gloves, and water. There is a bathroom on site. We suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Address: 4300 Avenue of the Republic, 19131 (down the street from the Mann). Street parking available. The farm is accessible by the 64, 38, 40, and 43 buses and the 15 trolley.
