POP Work Day @ the Carousel House Farm

Philadelphia Orchard Project(POP)will be leading us in thinning fruit, weeding, and mulching around the trees in our food forest. Join us to learn hands-on techniques for tree care, and ensure a healthy harvest for the many fruit trees at the farm.
This is an all-ages event. Please bring friends and family who’d like to get their hands in the dirt!
We will provide tools, gloves, and water. There is a bathroom on site. We suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Address: 4300 Avenue of the Republic, 19131 (down the street from the Mann). Street parking available. The farm is accessible by the 64, 38, 40, and 43 buses.
